Job Requirements
- Native-level English proficiency necessary (or very highly fluent)
- Currently living in Japan with a proper working visa
- Bachelor degree
- Prior experience working with children preferred.
- Lives in a commutable area (Kamioka station on the Keikyu Line, Yokohama)
- Qualifications:
- Childcare Supporter certificate or Hokushi license
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to the needs of individual children.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Attend a seminar

Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for preschool-aged children.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Design and adapt lesson plans to meet the individual needs and interests of each child in the classroom.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, and provide feedback to parents and caregivers through regular progress reports and parent-teacher conferences.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning through hands-on exploration and discovery.
- Model positive behavior and social skills, and teach children conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that supports learning and safety.
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all licensing, health, and safety regulations, and maintain accurate records as required.
