Job Requirements
- Language requirements (Japanese or English level) - Native English speaker, some Japanese
- Does the applicant have to be currently living in Japan or do you accept applications from overseas residents that wish to work in Japan? - the applicant must be living in Japan.
- Visa requirements? - must have work visa.
- Education, licenses, certificates, physical requirements, work days/hours - Early Childhood teaching certificate/degree/diploma - experience in Early Childhood settings working with children aged 15 months to 4 years old. 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

Job Description
- You must be experienced in working with young children in preschools. You will be required to work closely with your team and families in order to provide the best possible outcomes for the children in your care.
- Ohana is unique in that it has created its own curriculum through the philosophies and teaching principles of the global early childhood world. - Music skills are an advantage e. g. play the piano or other instruments.
- The day involves being flexible and includes art, language and literacy, music, free play, sensory play, mealtimes, outdoor play in the park and if you are the lead on a day, writing a journal which is then posted to Class Dojo, our portal for communicating with parents.
- Salary is 280,000 JPY per month which includes National Health Insurance and Pension. This is an amazing opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Early Childhood educator. Working as an Assistant Teacher with an experienced team, in a school that embraces diversity and families.
