Job Requirements
- Residing in Japan
- Fluent English and Japanese speaker (plus Chinese speaker preferred)
- Understand Japanese Anime, Comics, Music and Cultural IP knowledge preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- 3-5+ years of experience in creative marketing, agency/brand marketing preferred
- Strong understanding of branding, consumer insights, and creative development
- Experience in planning and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Proficient in paid media strategy, influencer marketing, and social media marketing
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics to optimize campaigns
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional creative and marketing team
Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and strategic marketing professional to join our team in Japan as the Creative and Marketing Manager. You will play a pivotal role in shaping UNDONE's brand identity, product creative direction, marketing strategy, and execution across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Brand Management
- Develop and steward the UNDONE brand identity across all customer touchpoints
- Establish brand guidelines and ensure consistent implementation across marketing channels
- Identify opportunities to elevate brand perception and awareness
2) Product Creative Direction
- Collaborate with the design team on creative concepts for new watch collections
- Infuse popular IP elements into compelling product narratives and visuals
- Oversee photoshoots, videography, and multimedia asset creation for products
3) Marketing Strategy
- Formulate integrated marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and product sales
- Develop annual marketing plans encompassing digital, social, influencer, events, and more
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to optimize marketing tactics
4) Campaign Execution
- Oversee end-to-end execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Manage creative agencies, freelancers, and internal teams for content production
- Track and optimize campaign performance using data-driven insights
- Manage events for driving branding awareness and sales
5) Paid Media and Influencer Marketing
- Develop paid media strategies across platforms like Google, Facebook, Instagram etc.
- Establish strategic influencer and KOL partnerships aligned with target audiences
- Negotiate influencer collaborations and manage relationship
6) Social Media Marketing
- Devise social media strategies to grow brand communities and engagement
- Create compelling social content calendars and storytelling campaigns
- Leverage social listening and analytics to refine social tactics
