Job Description

Tokyo YMCA International School seeks a full-time, highly qualified and organized Elementary School Teacher starting from mid-August 2024.

Tokyo YMCA International School (TYIS) is an accredited international school which was established in 1998 to offer young learners the opportunity to study in an English-speaking environment while promoting life-long learning and responsible global citizenship. We service K5 to Grade 9 students. The school has a strong English literacy and academic support program. The curriculum is student-centered and inclusive for all.

Duties include:

• Teaching core elementary subjects through an American-based curriculum
• Weekly lesson planning
• Committee work for annual events
• After-school club activity
• Recess/lunch duties.
• Annual camps

Salary
3,480,000 yen - 4,320,000 yen per year

Work Day
Usual working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
