Job Requirements

ALTs should be motivated, enthusiastic, professional and proactive in communicating with others. Successful applicants must also meet the following criteria:

🔺 Already be living in Japan and hold a valid visa permitting work

🔺 Be a university graduate

🔺 Have conversational Japanese skills and be comfortable talking with teachers and staff

🔺 Have native-level English proficiency with natural phonetic fluency and a minimum of 12 years of education where the main language of instruction in all classes was English

🔺 Are in good health and able to commit and complete the contract period (until March 2025)

🔺 Highly motivated, outgoing and friendly; able to proactively share ideas and communicate fully with other teachers

🔺 Have prior ALT experience in Japan

【Be an Assistant Language Teacher in Osaka!】

Borderlink, Inc. is now hiring Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) for positions throughout the greater Osaka area. These positions start from September, so apply now and secure work for the rest of the school year. If you are looking to relocate to a nearby area commutable to the Osaka area, we can assist you.

【Position Details】

Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) work alongside Japanese teachers to make English lessons fun and engaging for the students. Practicing grammar and vocabulary, participating in games and activities to reinforce the lesson’s goals and communicating with students both inside and outside of the classroom are all part of a day’s work for ALTs.

⚫ Contract period: September 2024 March 2025

⚫ Contract type: Full-Time

⚫ Level: Elementary schools and/or junior high schools

⚫ General working hours: Shift between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

⚫ Salary range: Between 230,000 to 250,000 yen / month

⚫ Benefits: Social Insurance, paid holidays (as stipulated by the contract)
