Job Requirements

Successful Applicants Must:

• Have at least 3 years experience in an early-years educational environment or childcare environment. At least 1 of those years must be as a Head Teacher
• Have a valid working visa which allows the applicant to work 40 hours/week
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree

Job Description

We are looking for a positive and qualified educator to join our team! Joy to the World was founded in 1999 and is celebrating its 25th year serving our community. Our students and staff enjoy a fun and diverse educational environment that prioritizes creativity and learning through fun activities and a school community. As the Head Kindergarten Teacher, you would be teaching our K1 Class as the Head Teacher and be responsible for:

• Creating classroom curriculum that fits your learners' needs and interests
• Maintaining safety and children's well being
• Managing and working with an Assistant Teacher
• Communicating with parents on a daily basis
• Posting a class blog with photos taken throughout the week
• Participating in meetings to discuss school/student matters and take part in professional development opportunities
• Holding a role in one of our Afternoon Clubs (more information in the interview)
