[Urgent] PART TIME – English Teacher – After School in Roppongi, Tokyo

Job Requirements

• Native level of English
• Bachelor Degree or higher
• Love and care for children and passion for teaching
• Minimum 1 year experience of teaching ESL kids
• Has experience of teaching Science and English
• Teamwork/communication skills

Job Description

We are urgently looking for creative and passionate part-time teachers who are craving to bring in more of your pieces to the classroom.

Our key value is to build an after school where KIDS want to come. For kids to have fun here, we need teachers who also enjoy working at our school.

Marie School has a unique and original approach to teach English using Math and Science curriculum to keep children's focus. In addition, we teach basic English such as phonics, reading, writing and conversation. Each class has ONLY 1-6 children, and they are Pre-kinder to Junior High School students but majorities are lower Elementary grades.

In addition, we have 3 external locations that we provide our lessons that includes our partner company, which they typically has more or less 15 students in one class.

【Working Hours】

• Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays
• 3pm-6:30 depending on the days

【Essential Duties】

• Create lesson plans　(incl. science experiment ideas)
• Prepare for classes
• Create a positive and fun environment
• Teach Science/Math/English lessons
• Record feedback for each student
• Monitor students' progres

【Location】

• Nishi-Azabu (Roppongi area), Minato-ku, Tokyo

【Hourly rate】

• Lesson: 2,500 yen / hour
• Prep and reporting time: 1,250 yen / hour*

*each lesson is 30min in length and prep & reporting time will be 10 min per lesson.
