Job Description

Asoka English School (Asoka Kindergarten) in located in Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture is looking for a native English speaking full time teacher who currently resides in Japan.

Working hours:
Monday - Friday, working 8 hours between 10:00 - 20:00hrs. Straight 8-hour shift (no split shifts)
Teaching hours: About 25 teaching hours per week

Duties / Main Responsibilities

Prepare and implement lessons and classroom activities aligned with the school concept.
Cleaning the lesson room
Planning, preparation, and execution of events (Halloween party, speech contest, etc.)

Salary and Bonus

260,000 yen / month
Salary increase: Upon contract renewal after two years of continuous service.
Contract renewal bonus: Potential (amount undermined)

Housing Allowance: 20,000 yen per month.
Unemployment insurance and worker's accident compensation
Commuting Allowance: Available (up to 8,000 yen per month)
