Our operating principle

Ideal applicants are someone

・who can teach English sincerely and politely,

・who can maintain a good rapport with our Japanese students.

・who aim to stay in Japan long-term and are interested in building an understanding of Japanese culture and customs in order to better relate to their students.

 

Tasks include

・English teaching to students (from elementary school age to seniors)

・Preparation of classes and curriculum

・Collection of tuition fees

・Lesson scheduling

・Tidying classroom

 

Contract Hours

Tues to Fri : 12:45pm to 8:45pm (occasionally to 9:45pm)

Saturday: 8:45am – 4:45pm (with an hour lunch break, occasionally to 5:45pm)

*We set a 15 min. gap between classes, and assign up to 5 classes in a row, up to 7 classes a day, to take care of our instructors and provide them with a good break to refresh.

 

Payment

Part-time basis with a base pay JPY180,000

(Base pay is set as a minimm guarantee after the 90-day probationary peiod. Most instructors at SSEA get higher on average once their work get stable.)

1,700-3,000 yen per class

25 to 27 weekly classes, 2,000 yen per class on average

 

Example from our instructors, managers, directors and executives

Instructors : 190,000~260,000 yen a month

Managers : 220,000~280,000 yen a month

Directors : 250,000~320,000 yen a month

Executives : Not limited by a ceiling (According to the business growth.)

 

Commuting Reimbursement

Paid up to 800 yen per day

(Corporate Health Insurance and Pension will be available in the future. National health insurance and pension are available through the Japanese government's national health insurance and pension systems.)

 

Contract Term

First 3 months will be as a probationary period, then the next 6 months will be as an instructor. After that, contracts with an annual renewal will be in effect.(Contracts are renewed every year to improve the contents of the working contract.)In our company's history, we have not terminated any employment without appropriate reasons, and welcome candidates who will be working with us for many years.
