Job Description

We are currently looking for 2 Part-time teachers.  We are looking for teachers who are flexible and comfortable working with a range of ages. Teachers may be asked to work with two or more different age groups.

Native English Speaking Preschool and Eikaiwa Teacher 
We are seeking a highly motivated instructor who is friendly, ambitious, flexible and team orientated to join our school. Previous experience at a language school or a preschool is advantageous and will be taken into consideration. Our classes include mummy and baby, preschool, after kinder, group level classes and one on one lessons.

Your days will be based on a schedule and may consist of teaching different lessons. Most of your classes will be prepped, but you will be allocated some time each week for preparation of classes. We strive to make all our lessons the best we can whilst having fun doing so.

Our preschool follows a curriculum and is divided into 3 different levels depending on the ability of the students. When teaching preschool we encourage our teachers to use their own artistic flare and creativity in their classes. All preschool classes have Japanese support staff assisting the teachers. The group level classes are text book based as well as the majority of one on one classes.

English Speaking "Baby English Time" Instructor

"Baby English Time" is a class where mom's and babies can practice English together in a fun an engaging way. We are looking for someone who likes being with babies and has some knowledge of baby developement. These classes are in the morning to early afternoon currently 3 days a week. If teacher wishes to work more hours we can work out a schedule to make a combination classes.

 

Your hours will be 16-30 hours per week with the possibility of more. Hours will be between 9:00 and 19:30 Monday to Friday. There will be a 3 month probationary period. There is always the chance of a fulltime position in the future depending on the growth of the school. Transportation costs will be paid up to 30000yen/month.
