• Curriculum Development or Coordination experience
• Minimum Experience:
  •  5 years experience in elementary teaching, curriculum development, or education administration
  • Experience with school accreditation processes
• Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Education degree preferred)
  • Education/Teaching Degree, License, or Certification
• Applicants may be living in Japan or overseas
  • Visa Sponsorship available
  • Moving expenses and housing relocation not applicable

Curriculum Coordinator Job Description:

• Join our growing, innovating, and diverse, international school  providing global education to children
• Manage a creative and innovative elementary curriculum meeting the needs of the students and emphasizing skills for the future
• Coordinate with a team of curriculum developers and managers to design, implement, and manage a successful elementary curriculum
• Coordinate and organize accreditation requirements; ensuring adherence to educational standards, rules and regulations
• Develop and maintain curriculum materials
• Train and observe faculty on curriculum development and implementation
• Evaluate institutional documentation for compliance with established standards
• Provide consultative guidance and feedback with respect to the application of standards at the practical level in the institution
• Assist with all aspects of the accreditation process, including scheduling visits, developing teams, preparing materials, editing reports, maintaining records, and responding to inquiries
