Job Description

GWG Teachers is a growing and innovative company bringing the highest qualified teachers to the Japanese classroom. Our teachers optimize their schedules by teaching between physical and virtual classrooms with opportunities to become a more effective teacher and advance in other areas. We currently employ over 250 teachers in over 40 different locations around the Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Osaka areas as well as through our global-educational online platform with over 2500 students. We are managed and led by a team of 10 experienced foreigners managers working to maintain teacher morale and progression.

After Schools:
Our After Schools are growing and launching new classes around the Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama areas. We are looking for experienced and energetic teachers to lead our students in productive and fun classroom lessons. Our classes encompass group, private, and academic lessons with a set curriculum as well as paid training and preparation. Our lessons cover activity-based learning, speaking/listening, reading/writing using a variety of different programs. All lesson plans and materials are provided. Class sizes range from 5-10 students between the ages of 6-10. Our teachers are expected to manage the classroom, teach the lessons in a fun and productive way, and assist students in their English learning. We have a great team of teachers, managers, and developers and looking for more dynamic teachers to help grow our company!

Compensation: 2,300-2,500 yen per hour dependent on experience, plus transportation

Various days/times during weekday afternoons between 3:00-7:00
