Job Description

We are looking for a new member to join our team teaching kids in small groups in an English speaking environment. We are a family owned and operated business since 2000. We have a good standing in the local community and garner most of our students by word of mouth.

We have a multifaceted approach to teaching our kids with an emphasis on getting them talking, reading and confident in their English use utilizing both traditional and modern tools. It makes for busy classes, rewarding post class activities and progressive development. A rewarding challenge for students and teachers alike.

The position is teaching 3-15 year olds in group glasses of up to 6 between 3pm and 8pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 3+ classes per day. Classes are 50-55 minutes, starting on the hour. Teachers arrive a half hour or more before classes start and are fully prepared to teach 10 minutes or more before.

The teachers prepare their class materials and classrooms before class, meet and greet the students and log class details every day. For preschool aged kids, we need to give a post class explanation of the class and homework to the parents too. This is assisted by Japanese speaking staff.

All resources, equipment and procedures for the classes are provided. The classes are taught here in our school.

treatment

Wage: 2500-3500 yen / class, depending on experience and ability.

Public transportation: up to 1000 yen/day
