At Izumi Chuo Kindergarten, we’ve created a wonderful environment in which our students can explore and experience nature, art, music and sports. We’re also happy to provide them with enjoyable English education and culture classes.

English teachers are responsible for working with the 4-5 and the 5-6 year-old classes, as well as some after school Kindergarten and 1st to 3rd grade elementary school classes. Teachers also contribute to major kindergarten events such as Sports Day, the Art Exhibition, the Music Concert and cultural exchange programs, as well as participate when possible in the planting and harvesting of rice and sweet potatoes, going on picnics and field trips, and joining our students in their every day activities at the Kindergarten.

Job Requirements

Full time position

Mon-Fri 9am-6pm

Bachelor’s Degree

Native Level English

1 year + teaching English to Young Learners

Access to Izumi Chuo Kindergarten

Train: 20 min from JR Nagoya to JR Nishigifu

Bicycle: 10 min from JR Nishigifu

Walking: 30min from JR Nishigifu

Closest Gifu Bus Stops: Kitauzura or Gifu Seiryu Arena
