International Student Counselor for students to Japan – Marketing & Sales

Job Requirements

• Native speaker of English, French, Swedish, or German.
• Strong communication abilities in Japanese.
• At least 1 year of customer support experience.
• Ability to work on-site at our Shinjuku office (no remote work available).
• Attention to detail and a passion for helping others.
• Willingness to participate in marketing efforts, including content creation, translation, and appearing on our channels.
• Legally able to work in Japan with a visa valid for at least another 6 months.

*Previous experience applying for a student visa in Japan is a plus.

Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated native English, French, Swedish, and German speakers to join our fast-growing team as Student Counselors. In this role, you will provide support to individuals living abroad who wish to study in Japan. Your responsibilities will include:

• Guiding and assisting students through the application process for Japanese language schools, colleges, and universities.
• Providing detailed information about our programs and services.
• Offering support and advice on living and studying in Japan.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to create content, translate materials, and participate in promotional activities.
• Maintaining strong communication with students to ensure their needs are met and providing ongoing support.

*Just a heads up: for the first 6 months, you'll be working with us on an hourly basis. After that, you'll have the opportunity to become a full-time team member. During this period, you'll earn an hourly wage of 1200 yen plus commission.
