Job Description

Position: Report Editor

This position is responsible for editing English language individual background screening reports and company due diligence reports.

Responsibilities

1. Editing English language individual background reports and company due diligence reports.
2. Drafting and editing client emails.
3. Managing overseas information vendors.
4. Conducting English language phone verifications with overseas employers and universities as required.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above.
2. Currently residing in Japan.
3. Native English speaker
4. Two years working experience in Japan, ideally in an editor position and with a keen interest in Japanese business.
5. Experience in report editing.
6. Great attention to detail, flexibility, adapt quickly to change, and can focus and prioritize.
7. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
8. Mature, self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently.

 

Benefits

1. Starting salary of between JPY270,000 to JPY300,000 per month depending on ability.
2. Annual contract renewal bonus of 1 month.
3. All overtime is paid
4. All public holidays off. 10 days paid leave, increasing 1 day for each year worked.

6. Transport allowance.
7. Working hours 930am to 630pm, 5 days a week.
