About Family English School International
In the fall of 1993 with one teacher and three students, FES started by privately teaching in the home. This adventure quickly grew as one student referred another and within a year, we had to hire our first instructor. This trend continued until that instructor’s teaching hours became full and to meet the growing demand, we started hiring regular full-time teachers. What started as one teacher teaching privately in the home, became four full time teachers reaching much of the main island of Okinawa.
Our vision is to continue conversational English instruction and to have our students reach their goals by the time they finish our program. We understand that not all students will become fluent in English, but the overall goal of introductory language and culture exposure will be met. In addition to this, we plan on expanding our educational resources, i.e., books, CD’s, and computer related software. FES will continue to be the place to come for quality education instruction and learning for both students and the professionals who instruct them. We will continue to provide a valuable service to the community, and we are committed to educational excellence that everyone can afford.
