  • Bachelor’s Degree Holder
  • Bilingual Speaker – Japanese & English language
  • Knowledgeable of Japan Labor Law
  • With at least 5 years of work experience in Human Resources Department as a Supervisor
  • Preferably well rounded/knowledgeable of all facets of Human Resources
  • Preferably with Hotel/Serviced Residence/Resort background

We're looking for a Human Resources Supervisor  to join our team.  One full-time position available.

Job Purpose
This position is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the Human Resources Department. Duties include but not limited to hiring, managing the onboarding process, employee relations, performance management and training & development.

Job Responsibilities

1.     Recruitment

  • Posting of job advertisement
  • Conduct of screening & interview
  • Conduct of background check
  • Process employment requirements
  • Preparation of employment contract

2.     Compensation & Benefits

  • Preparation of salary structure
  • Preparation of benefits
  • Preparation of manpower budget
  • Processing of payroll

3.     Government Mandatory Registration and Contribution

4.     Training & Development

  • Conduct of orientation to new employees
  • Conduct of departmental trainings or per level/rank
  • Conduct of trainings for self-improvement and life-work balance
  • Conduct trainings on a timely manner for all, preferably one topic per quarter.
  • Organize government mandatory trainings

5.     Employee Relations

  • Conduct of performance evaluation
  • Conduct of employee opinion survey
  • Selection & awarding of employee of the year
  • Organization of employee activities such as company outing, Christmas/year-end party, sportsfest, team-buildings, etc.
  • Handling grievance/s
  • Handling of promotion, transfer, resignation, termination, disciplinary action, etc.

6.     Other Administrative Duties

  • Deployment of outsource staff such as housekeeping and security
  • Creation & implementation of company policies
  • Preparation of certifications, memorandum, announcement, authorizations, etc.
