Job Description
Join our teaching team at Merry England
At Merry England, we've been dedicated to creating an enjoyable and engaging environment for both students and teachers for over 30 years.
We're thrilled to invite passionate educators to join our team in Matsusaka, Mie, Japan.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching English conversation to students aged 3 and up, including adults, in varying class sizes (from one-on-one to groups of 10)
- Following the original curriculum with a focus on Phonics, TPR, role play, and engaging activities
Conditions:
- Base salary of between 250,000 to 295,000 based on experience and qualifications.
- Working hours: 40 hours per week, primarily Tuesday to Saturday, with around 30 teaching hours
- Holidays: Sunday, Monday, major holidays (10-12 days for Obon and New Year's), 5 additional paid holidays in the first year, plus paid sick leave
- Comprehensive initial and ongoing training
- Opportunities for curriculum development and media creation
- Opportunities for advancement.
- Fully furnished accommodation provided (less than 45,000yen)
- Access to a company car, free of charge (for both business and private use)
Qualifications:
- Preferably a native English speaker with a relevant bachelor's degree (or higher)

Contract Details:
- Initial one-year contract (renewable) with visa sponsorship available
