Job Description

As an English Instructor at an English-themed study center, your role is to provide high-quality English language instruction to Japanese elementary, junior or senior high school, and college students. You will be responsible for delivering effective English lessons and assessing student progress.

This one-month assignment includes accomodation and meals during weekdays. Accomodation is also provided during weekends or teachers may travel elsewhere at their choosing. On weekdays, teachers may leave the facilties after their working hours but must return by 9:00pm.

Working hours: "Regular" 8:45〜17:35 or "Shift A" 9:40〜18:30

(Actual "Regular" lessons are 9:00〜17:05 or "Shift A" lessons 9:55〜18:00)

Main duties:

(1) English Lessons (typically 5 lessons per day, with each lesson lasting 45 minutes).

(2) Meetings with staff (regarding lessons and student-related information).

(3) Student consultations (academic).

Lunch break: Teachers are allocated a daily 50-minute lunch break, with the discretion to determine the timing that best suits their schedules.

Public Holidays: Weekday public holidays will follow the regular school day schedule, with lessons proceeding as usual.
