Job Requirements

We are seeking teachers for our international team who:

・are native (or native-level) English speakers

・are culturally sensitive, professional, and have excellent communication skills

・are interested in and passionate about teaching children (mainly students under 12 years old)

・can easily build a rapport with young students and their families

・are CURRENTLY living in Japan, preferably in Sendai, and can come to Tokyo for training

・tourist / temporary visa holders will not be considered

Though we have classrooms all over Japan, we are currently searching for eager candidates in Sendai.

Contract type: Part-Time

・Work hours:

From January 2025

Monday (4 teaching hours ）10:00-12:00 at Nakano Kindergarten and 15:00-18:00 at Serva Izumichuo plaza
Wednesday (1 teaching hour ）11:20~12:00 at the mall Sendai Nagamachi

From April 2025

Monday (4 teaching hours）10:00-12:00 at Nakano Kindergarten and 15:10-17:15 at Serva Izumichuo plaza
Wednesday (2 teaching hours）11:20~12:00 and 15:10~16:10 at the mall Sendai Nagamachi

● Prepare for the lessons (prepare lesson materials, review lesson plans, clean upmaterials)

● Deliver 40 or 60 minute group lessons (maximum of 8 students / class)

● Work together with school staff to provide high quality lessons and customer service

● Deliver special lessons and participate in seasonal events

● All lesson plans will be provided and related materials will be ready at each schoollocation.
