  • Are currently residing in Japan.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in Japan.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Have legal permission to work in Japan.
  • Are available to attend an in-person meeting & orientation session on June 29th, 2024.
  • Can commit to working on both days of the Summer English Camp.
  • Have experience teaching at a junior and/or senior high school (preferred, but not required).

Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic, flexible, and reliable educators with a passion for working with children of all ages. The ideal candidate should embrace innovative teaching approaches, demonstrate a strong commitment to student development, and possess effective communication skills. The ability to independently plan dynamic lessons while maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment is essential.

Event Details:

This is a two-day "Summer English Camp" event in the Saitama area, designed for junior high school students in grades 1 through 3. Each class will consist of 8-12 students, with a total of 10+ groups. There will be a total of five 50-minute classes per day.

Dates and Times:

English Camp:

  • July 25th (Thursday) 2024, 09:00 - 16:00
  • July 26th (Friday) 2024, 09:00 - 16:00

In-person Meeting & Orientation:

  • June 29th, 2024 (Saturday) from 10:30 to 12:30
  • *Priority will be given to applicants who are able to attend the in-person meeting & orientation.

Compensation:

  • 36,000 yen in total for the 2-day camp.
  • Transportation costs are covered in addition to the 2-day total as well as for the in-person meeting on June 29th.

  • Saitama

Instructor Responsibilities:

Instructors will have the opportunity to create their own lesson plans based on a topic provided by us. This allows for a high degree of creativity and personal teaching style to be brought into the classroom, making the learning experience both engaging and tailored to the students' needs. If selected, 7ACT personnel will conduct online meetings with applicants to confirm the materials and provide guidance, ensuring the content meets our standards and aligns with the camp's objectives.
