Job Description
New Life International School is a small Christian international school that serves elementary through high school students in Japan. We need a math and science secondary Christian school teacher from April 2025. The school teacher will teach junior high and high school students math, science, Bible, and electives of their choice. This is not an ESL job. This is a high-level private American Christian international school. We use English in the classroom.
The teacher's duties include teaching from 8:50 to 3:30, with breaks, Monday through Friday, writing weekly lesson plans, attending teacher meetings, and helping with research for accreditation work. The teacher is expected to love math and science and want to share that love with their students while maintaining a warm environment. The hours are 8:30 to 4:00, Monday to Friday, 183 days of teaching a year, plus five days of teacher professional development and two days of parent meetings. You could also teach a Bible club after school. Every day is filled with laughter at our school. The students are fun-loving, hard-working, sincere, and a joy to teach.
