Kids UP is seeking caring, professional, and energetic educators who are passionate about working with children ages 3–12. The ideal candidate enjoys leading engaging activities, creating a positive learning environment, and inspiring children to develop confidence in English.


Job Description

Our curriculum combines content and language integrated learning through arts and crafts, exercise-based activities, phonics, imagination-based learning, and traditional English instruction, with a strong emphasis on vocabulary development and grammar.

However, permanent employment is not guaranteed and is subject to company requirements, performance evaluations, and available positions.

POSITION DETAILS

Kids UP has developed a unique curriculum designed to help children learn English naturally while participating in a variety of fun and educational activities, including arts and crafts, exercise, phonics, imagination-based learning, and more.

Teachers work closely with both native English-speaking teachers and bilingual Japanese staff to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that helps students develop language skills and confidence for the future.

The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday. However, Kids UP hosts special events, seasonal programs, and promotional activities throughout the year, some of which take place on weekends. Employees are required to work on Saturdays and Sundays when assigned to these events. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Starting salary: ¥267,000–¥300,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
- Visa sponsorship and renewal support
- Annual salary review based on performance
- bonus of ¥100,000 after the third month of the second contract
- Additional renewal bonus increases based on performance and continued employment
- 10 paid vacation days after six months of employment
- Additional paid leave accrued based on length of service
- All Japanese national holidays off
- Fully paid training program
- Transportation reimbursement up to ¥35,000 per month
- Enrollment in Japanese social insurance and health insurance programs
- Qualification Allowance

Kids UP provides an additional monthly allowance of ¥5,000 to employees who possess or obtain one of the following qualifications:

- TESOL for Children certification
- A university degree in Applied Linguistics or a closely related field
- JLPT N1 certification

This allowance reflects our commitment to recognizing professional qualifications and specialized expertise in language education.

LOCATION
