Job Description
Vehicle Systems Engineer
Role
As we grow, we are seeking to expand our control systems engineering team for our in-house autonomous vehicle development projects. If you think the opportunity to work in a fast-moving team of Japan-based autonomous vehicle engineers striving to improve mobility for society is a good fit for your skills and interests, we would love to talk to you.
Our work is sited in several locations in Japan and overseas. The position requires periodic travel, as well as the possibility of relocation to the project area. As such, it would suit a person that enjoys the opportunity to see new places. We apply a flexible working schedule and remote work is supported once the right knowledge and training has been obtained. We are a diverse group, with team members from all over the world.
The successful candidate will be required to have experience in C++, MATLAB Simulink, ROS or similar software. We appreciate flexible team players that also possess the ability to work independently and drive project areas forward; our ethos is to promote individual decision-making skills. In particular, we seek applicants with proven industry and control systems development experience.
Business level English or Japanese proficiency is a requirement for the position. Ability to converse in both English and Japanese is preferred.
Working time:
09:30-18:30 (discretionary labor system).
Remote work available.
Vacation/Holidays:
Weekends, public holidays and an annual paid leave system of 10 days.
Work location:
Nagoya Head Office.
This job will also feature frequent business travel.

Nagoya Office: 5 minutes’ walk from Chikusa Station on the Higashiyama Subway Line, or Kurumamichi Station on the Sakuradori Line. 5 minutes’ walk from JR Chikusa Station.
