Job Description

At 2b English School we have a full-time teaching job at our classrooms in Shiga-ken (Hikone, Notogawa, Omihachiman), starting in August, 2022 (preferred start date is between August 18th and 23rd) with some flexibility.

Teachers teach up to four lessons per day, five days a week for 44 weeks of the year, to 2-12 year-olds.

There are currently four of us teaching and an office manager working to deliver fun and effective weekly lessons to 370 students. We get together daily, online, to discuss teaching, lessons and students and to support each other. In this environment your ideas and input will be appreciated and you will also get to learn from other teachers. We all take pride and satisfaction from seeing our students grow as young people and as English speakers.

Lessons are when children are not at school so that means working evenings and weekends (TU~SA 12:00~20:30). The position is full time, and the monthly salary is in the 260,000~320,000 range. The payment package will include unemployment insurance and labour insurance. Travel is paid within a reasonable distance from the school.
