Job Description

WinBe School in Tokyo will be expanding the Online Course for children between 3-18, and we are currently looking for passionate and enthusiastic teachers to join our team!

We are currently looking for teachers to teach 20-min online lessons at our new studio in Hatchobori, Chuo-ku in Tokyo. A 15-minute walk away from Tokyo Station.

■ What We Offer

• 2,000JPY~3,500JPY per hour

└Candidates may consider this position as a side job, which in this case, candidates MUST disclose work information which will be asked during the hiring process (ex. Working hours of the main job, salary of the main job, etc.)

• Extensive training and full support to help you to perform your duties

 

■ Main Duties

• Work shifts between 2:00PM-9:00PM on weekdays, between 9:00AM-8:00PM on weekends and holidays (2-3 or more days per week).

• Teach a 20-min lesson via Online at our new studio in Hatchobori, Chuo-ku in Tokyo.

• Lessons follow a set syllabus and pre-written lesson plans that include suggested activities to meet lesson goals.

• Adapt materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students while meeting learning goals and quality standards.

• Prepare classroom materials for lessons and projects.

• Monitor children’s interactions and encourage cooperation.

• Administer tests to evaluate students’ progress.

• Perform record-keeping duties including attendance and grading tests.

• Evaluate students’ progress and complete reports.

• Build, develop, and maintain positive relationships with students, guardians, and staff from diverse backgrounds.

• Take part in school promotional and educational activities.

• Expand knowledge and skills by participating in ongoing company-managed teacher training.

• Maintain appearance and behavior that serve as a positive model for students.

• Patience to teach all ages and levels

• Ability to communicate in ways students will understand

• Creativity to motivate and inspire students to learn

• Capacity to work in a way that promotes the safety and well-being of children

• Understanding of child development and its impact on learning and behavior

• A keen sense of customer service and an understanding of Japanese business culture are advantages.
