English Nursery Assistant

Job Requirements

Applicants Must:

• Have experience working with young children (1-5years old)
• Be able to speak English
• Be able to read Japanese
• Be able to speak Japanese
• Be punctual and reliable
• Hold a valid working visa (sponsorship for extension is possible)

Highly desirable:

• Be fluent English speakers
• Be able to write Japanese (type on a device)

Job Description

• Wonderful World International School is looking for a full or part-time assistant in our busy English-speaking Nursery to assist in daily English lessons and other activities.

We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with young children and watching their growth and development. This is a position for those who have a desire to work in childcare. We are happy to train the correct candidate and help them grow into the role.

Job Description:

• Morning preparation
• Assisting in lessons and other learning activities
• Assisting with daily routine: playtime, lunchtime, toilet, nap time, clean up activities
• General cleaning duties
• Participating in school events (Sports Day, Halloween, Christmas etc)
• Keeping records / daily report etc.
• School bus duties

Job Details

Days: Monday to Saturday (Sun + one other day off)

Hours: 40hrs per week or 29.5 hours per week

Full time shifts are 8 hours and are available from 7:15 am (early bus) to 6pm (after school care). We have some degree of flexibility and can arrange shifts based on your desired schedule.

Schedule and hours will be decided in consultation during the hiring process.

Location: Toyokawa, Aichi

Remuneration:

• 200,000 to 250,000 yen per month based on experience, qualifications, and hours worked.
• Health insurance and pension coverage for 40hr per week position
• Paid transport (up to 20,000 per month)

Job term: Initial contract of 1 year, renewal and longer contracts will be available following the successful completion of the first contract.

Holidays:

Golden Week (full week), Obon, Winter holidays

All public holidays off
