Job Requirements
- A genuine love for Japan and eagerness to share it.
- Top-notch communication: you’re friendly and attentive.
- Dependability: your word is your bond.
- Age 23 or up with at least 2 years living in the city you are applying.
- Fluent in English with at least conversational proficiency in Japanese
- You are based in of of these cities Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Kobe, Yokohama, Nagoya or Sapporo!
- If you’ve got a Tour Guide or Interpreter license, even better!
Job Description
Job summary:
Join the City Unscripted team and become a local guide in Japan. This isn’t the usual tour guide job. Think of it as strolling around your city with friends from other countries, sharing stories, laughs, and insider tips. Let travelers discover your city through your eyes. Flexible hours, good pay, and endless memories await!
Your main tasks:
- Chat with travelers before their visit to understand their interests.
- Design city walks tailored to their tastes, no two tours are the same!
- Guide them around, revealing gems, both popular and hidden.
- Offer top recommendations for dining, shopping, and leisure.
Availability:
You'll need to be available at least 3 days per week for a minimum of 4 hours each day. The best part? It doesn't have to be the same days every week! We offer flexibility to match your schedule.
