AFTERNOON DAYCARE STAFF – Kinder Kids International School (Kansai Area)

Kinder Kids International School (KKIS) is currently seeking enthusiastic and caring part-time daycare staff to join our growing team across the Kansai region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young children and are looking to gain experience in international preschool and childcare education in Japan.

Our schools provide a bilingual learning environment where children develop confidence, communication skills, and international awareness from an early age.
Position Overview
This is an afternoon support role within our daycare programme.
Children attend structured educational classes during the day before joining our daycare programme in the afternoon. As part of the daycare team, you will help provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment for students after class hours.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervising children during nap time and free play
- Supporting outdoor park activities
- Assisting with arts and crafts activities
- Preparing and supervising afternoon snack time
- Supporting basic childcare needs, including nappy/diaper changing
- Assisting with classroom organisation and cleaning duties
- Helping maintain a warm and supportive environment for children
Working Hours & Locations
Shift Availability
- Afternoon shifts only
- Approximately 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- No morning or weekend shifts available for this role
Locations
Schools are primarily located throughout the greater Osaka area, with additional campuses in:
- Kyoto
- Nara
- Hyogo
We are particularly looking for people who can get to the following schools:
- Sakai
- Nara Tomigaoka
- Ibaraki Saito
- Kyoto
Salary & Benefits
- Hourly wage starting from ¥1,200
- Performance-based increases up to ¥1,230
- Transportation reimbursement up to ¥40,000 per month
- Paid annual leave based on weekly working days

Requirements

- Be physically and mentally fit for childcare work

- Musical abilities
- Japanese or Mandarin Chinese language ability
