Job Description

A range of positions are available, including;

  • Front Desk and Reservation staff at one of Hotels or auxiliary services
  • Food and Beverage chefs and attendants at our restaurants, cafe or central kitchen
  • Driving roles, guest facing or staff service
  • Back office roles including Marketing, IT Support and Staff Accommodation
  • Many more! 100+ positions in total.

Job Particulars

Pay Rate

  • ¥1,600 - ¥2,650 per hour - Varies based on position, experience and language.
  • 25% overtime allowance for hours worked above prescribed working hours for the month.
  • 25% late night allowance for work between 10pm and 5am.

Employment Period

  • Mid/late November 2026 - start/mid April 2027.
  • Shorter term contracts available for some positions.
  • Fully paid training at the start of the season.

Hours

  • Generally 5 days per week, around 40 hours per week.
  • Hours will vary through the season depending on business levels with less hours at the start and end of the season and occasional overtime during peak periods.

Job Benefits

Lift Passes

  • A Free Grand Hirafu season pass with an option of upgrading to All Mountain at an additional cost.
  • If you do not need a pass, you will be offered a bonus payment.

Travel Support Bonus

  • ¥50,000 travel cost support bonus upon contract completion for new staff or ¥80,000 for returning staff.

Subsidised Accommodation and Staff Shuttle

  • Subsidised staff accommodation available in Hirafu or Kutchan with all utilities, basic supplies and WiFi included.
  • For staff based in Kutchan, there is a free staff shuttle to transport to and from work in Hirafu.

Free Ski & Snowboard Lessons

  • Great for first-timers and beginners - free ski/snowboard group lessons with GoSnow (dependent on availability.)

Discounts on HTM's services

  • Discounts on stays, restaurants, rentals, massages and more with HTM operated businesses.
