  • Native-level English proficiency.
  • Currently residing in Japan and available to work approximately 28 hours per week.
  • Available Monday to Friday during our regular teaching hours. We are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements that suit both the successful applicant and our school.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (required for visa sponsorship, if applicable).
  • Experience teaching preschool or kindergarten children is preferred. However, applicants with a genuine interest in early childhood education are encouraged to apply.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

POLKU International School is a growing preschool and kindergarten in Matsudo, Chiba, providing an English immersion programme for children aged 2 to 6. We believe that young children learn best through meaningful experiences, consistency, and positive relationships with their teachers.

As a Native English Teacher, you will primarily teach preschool children (ages 2–3) while also supporting kindergarten classes (ages 3–6) when needed. You will work closely with both native English-speaking and bilingual teachers to create a warm, engaging, and structured learning environment.

Working Hours

Approximately 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
