Job Description

Niseko Resort is a thriving international alpine destination, famous worldwide for its snow, food and jet-set clientele.

Our spas are often a defining moment in a guest’s stay — an elevation of their time with us and a memory that brings Guests back to us time and again. Across both Ki and Skye, our Spas are not just an added amenity but an integral part of the guest journey and a meaningful contributor to the overall success of our hotels. The Spa Manager position is an exceptional opportunity to step into the helm of our Spas and help drive forward our Guest's experience and the success of our spa teams.

At HTM, our purpose is to make an ongoing contribution to the Niseko resort, our staff, our customers and the community. We value professionalism and honesty in everything we do and everyone we work with. If you want to be part of a dedicated and dynamic team in this special part of the world then we would love to hear from you.

The Role

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Ryko & Ki Spa including scheduling, inventory and facility presentation to ensure delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Lead a team of therapists showing both responsiveness to business needs as well as empathy for therapists/staff.
  • Build upon our spa menus to suit the requirements of Guests during differing summer and winter seasons.
  • Find creative solutions to drive revenue including promotions to improve efficiency and therapist usage.
  • Be involved in budget creation, handle financials and expenses of the department.
  • With the support of our HR team, recruit both year round and seasonal staff therapists to meet the operational needs of the spas.
  • Enhance existing spa orientation & training plans along with SOP guidelines. Train staff in all aspects of the spa as required.
  • Ensure that the employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Spa facilities policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the use and maintenance of the Spa software systems, with a focus on Guest experience.
  • Manage supplies and equipment inventories within budget.
  • Maintain cleanliness of spa and related areas and equipment.
  • Handle Guest issues and complaints.
